Summary

An unclassified cropmark of probable archaeological origin was recorded here. Fieldwalking survey in the same area found a small assemblage of finds including flint and Roman pottery

Full Description

{1} Cropmark; 1963; Hollowell, unclassified;

{2} Fieldwalking survey was undertaken in November 1989 in the area of the cropmark; three chunks of burnt flint; 49 flints; 10 sherds of Roman pottery; two sherds of Saxon pottery; one sherd of medieval pottery were found, although visibility was almost totally obscured by weeds in places hindering retrieval;
