Full Description

{1} A circular enclosure cutting through an old ground surface and sealed by alluvium. Two overlapping terminals and a possible third terminal indicated a segmented monument. Recutting was also seen. There was no evidence for a surviving bank and the immediate collapse of trench sides prevented the examination of the ditch fills. No dating evidence was recovered but the nature of the feature suggests a prehistoric date.
