Full Description
{1} Trenches 57, 58, 59 and 80 has a large quantity of closely packed limestone blocks set into the top of the relict stream course (2425/0/18).
[Appendix 3] The stone blocks were closely set in trench 57 and spaced further apart in trenches 58 and 59. All appeared to have been laid or have come to rest in a horizontal plane. Those in trench 57 were suggestive of a ford.
