Full Description

{1} At the north end of trench 55 were footings for a Roman stone building. A large amount of limestone and tile rubble overlaid a cobbled area and obscured a suspected south return wall. The surviving wall comprised two courses above offset footings. Two sets of floor layers were found internal to the building.
