Full Description
{1} Five gullies in the area of fields and paddocks at the east end of the excavated area. They were stratigraphically at the base of the sequence of ditches and gullies forming these fields. They were oriented NW-SE, except one which was perpendicular to this. Their date could not be determined; two contained a single small sherd of Roman grey ware, but these could be intrusive. No other dating evidence was recovered.
