Full Description

{1} A rectangular structure 12m long (WNW-ESE) and 6.2m wide. Only the foundations survived, consisting of pitched limestone set in trenches 0.8m wide and 0.3m deep. The extent of later activity meant that no internal layers could definitely be associated with the structure although a layer of limestone paving on its N and W sides may belong to it.

{3} An excavation undertaken by Oxford Archaeology in 1990; in the mid 2nd century the buildings probably represented a watermill, since there was a leat on either side of the building; use as a barn may be indicated by the large entrance;
