Full Description

{1} Three furrows survived towards the north end of Trench 1, aligned north-west to south-east. They were shallow sided with a maximum width of 0.7m and depth of 0.1m. Two contained sherds of post medieval pottery. The features indicate that the area was utilised for ridge and furrow cultivation in the medieval period. They survived only where the overburden was thickest.
