Full Description

{1} Trench 16 revealed a large post medieval/modern ditch which extended down the length of the trench on a north-east to south-west alignment. It was cut by a large, modern pit which lay beneath a homogeneous layer of garden soil containing C19th pottery and fragments of glass and clay pipe stems.
