Full Description

{1} On the north-west side of Trench 11 was the foundation of a late C19th red brick and mortar wall, up to seven courses high, and aligned north-east to south-west. This was built on a foundation of brick and stone, and forms part of a former building. Demolition debris from this building included a fragment of glazed, perforated glass of a type used in malthouses, thus suggesting that the building was perhaps part of a malthouse complex.
