Full Description
{1} House. Mid C17 and datestone 1684. Regular coursed and squared coursed ironstone and limestone with asbestos tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan then L-shape. 2 storeys. Elevation to road has a gable with 2- and 3-light stone mullion windows. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Datestone in gable. C19 gable to left with C20 porch between gables. Elevation to right has short return wall at abutment with gable with a plank door set in C17 opening with 4-centred moulded stone head. Rear elevation is probably mid C17 and has two 3-light stone mullion windows to ground floor and C19 casements to first floor. Large central brick stack. Gable to left has casement in moulded stone surround. Interior not inspected.
