Full Description

{1} Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18 and C19. Squared coursed and part banded ironstone and limestone with slate and concrete tile roofs. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic; 4-window range of C19 casements with glazing bars under wood lintels at first floor and with stone surrounds to ground floor. C19 canted wood bay with stone base to right of centre has evidence of rebuilt stonework surround. Central panelled door has plain stone surround. Ashlar gable parapets and stone stacks at ends. Outbuilding, attached to right now form part of the house and have long central stone stack. Left gable has 2-light stone mullion windows to first floor and attic. The latter is now blocked. Interior not inspected but noted as having cruck roof construction.
