Full Description
{1} House. Late C17 and mid C18. Squared coursed and ashlar ironstone with slate roof. Originally probably 2-unit plan. 2 and 3 storeys. 4-window range with one 3-light stone mullion window to first floor left. C19 sash window under wood lintel below and casement above. 3 C19 sash windows to first floor right under scored stone lintels with keyblocks. 2 similar openings, one now blocked, to ground floor. Central C19 glazed and panelled door has moulded wood surround with hood. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers and brick stacks at ends. C19 one-bay brick extension to right. Left gable has 2 C19 single-light windows with stone surround. Interior has open fireplace with bressumer and wooden spiral stair.
