Full Description

{1} TP12, Feature 1: steep-sided feature (possible pit?) with a flat to 'U' shaped bottom cut into the natural. Possibly a medieval boundary ditch, although the presence of Iron Age and Romano-British pottery in significant quantities in the overlying layers might suggest earlier origins.
