Two ditches with 13th century pottery

Full Description

{1} A u-shaped ditch, aligned east-west, containing 13th century pottery. This cut a ditch aligned north-west to south-east which contained Roman pottery. In the north-west corner of the site was a further short length of ditch which also contained 13th century pottery. The two ditches may have been plot boundaries or sub-divisions within plots as part of the medieval village
