Full Description

{1} The construction of planned farms peaked between 1790 and 1820 and then again between c1840 until the 1870s. The beginning of this second peak is marked in the area around Towcester by a number of farms on the Grafton Estate, built during the 1840s, however, Manor Farm belonged to the Hesketh Estate. A A date of 1861 is inscribed in a tie beam in one of the barns.
The farmstead is in limestone with matching red brick dressings used throughout and the whole appears to form part of a single unified design.
