Full Description

{1} The earliest of the stables, closest to the farmhouse, is shown on the 1830 map and is constructed of coursed rubble with 19th-century brick and stone remodelling. Re-roofed in the 20th century with a dormer to allow access to the hayloft. Internally, the mangers, stalls and tack hooks survived. Divided into five stalls, with a larger loose box at east end. Adjoining the western gable of this stable a single storey range of red brick and Welsh slate roof. Built in the late 19th century, but probably utilising an earlier northern wall. Used as milking parlours. Mangers and feeding racks present, along with pipework for transporting the milk.
At the western end of this range is another stable, constructed between 1830 and 1884, this building has a hipped roof. Coursed rubble with later 19-century brickwork and a slate and corrugated iron roof. More recently used as a milking parlour.

Further west is a modern stable and garage.
