Full Description

{1} The medieval soil layer had been cut by a foundation trench for a wall. The trench was 0.95m wide and 0.40m deep and was filled with limestone rubble. There were no artefacts present. The north-eastern side of the trench was poorly defined due to 20th century disturbance and made-ground. A row of mid-19th century stone-buit cottages known as Fish Row is known to have occupied the south-eastern part of the site until the mid-1950s.
