Full Description

{1} Building C is again a linear range, perpendicular to the south west corner of building B, forming the western range of the yard and abutting the rear wall of building D. The brickwork again matches that of A and B (The brickwork on the principal and rear elevations is laid in a Flemish Garden Wall Bond (three stretcher bricks to one header brick in each course), the gable brickwork is laid in a Flemish Bond (alternate header bricks and stretcher bricks in each course). The standard 9inch x 3inch x 4 ½ inch (220mm x 550mm x 110mm) brick dimensions suggests a post 1830s construction date.), indicating the buildings are a single phase build and the roof is Welsh Slate. Again, the principal elevation consists of blind arches, five in total.

However, unlike B the brickwork in the arches is later, indicating the building was originally open-fronted, in all likelihood a shelter shed for cattle facing the yard, a common arrangement.
Internally, there are a number of un-original partitions, both in brick and timber creating five stalls and a low, brick-built manger on the rear wall. The lean to roof is carried on five asymmetric composite trusses of deal and iron.

On the southern end are two smaller rooms. One is little more than a linking corridor, the other most likely being a feed preparation room. There is however, an excessively ornate two centred arch in bull nose bricks with decorative flared headers, there is an identical arch on the porch of Weedon Lodge itself. There is a second, similar, but less ornate arched opening, probably originally also a door, but now partially blocked with an inserted window on the southern elevation. The remainder of the openings are all simple flat brick arches.
