{2} The manor house of Blisworth stands near the church. The old seat which stood there was occupied by the Wake family (lords of the manor from the time of Henry III). There was once a park and a
warren here.
{3} A modern house now occupies the site. The resident recollects the demolition of 'the old manor house' at the site c 1910.
