Site of the Manor House of Blisworth. The Wake family occupied the seat since the time of Henry the III. The house was demolished in around 1910.

{1} (SP 7257347) Manor House (LB);

{2} The manor house of Blisworth stands near the church. The old seat which stood there was occupied by the Wake family (lords of the manor from the time of Henry III). There was once a park and a
warren here.

{3} A modern house now occupies the site. The resident recollects the demolition of 'the old manor house' at the site c 1910.
