Full Description

{1} In Trench 1, there was a shallow ditch, aligned north-west to south-east. It was 0.50m wide and 0.18m deep, with a shallow, broad U-shaped profile and irregular base. A fragment of brick was recovered, suggesting that it was a post-medieval field boundary, possibly a continuation of the plot boundary to the north-west, which is more or less on the same alignment.
