Full Description

{1} The base of a circular, stone-lined pit was identified during the investigation. It had an internal diameter of c1m and was c0.2m deep with two courses of limestone rubble lining surviving in situ. The upper fill contained sherds of pottery and fragments of clay pipe and tile.
