Full Description
{1} The remains of a brick building were uncovered in the north of the site. This building is at least 9m long (east-west) and is 2.4m wide. The building has two rooms with an entrance in the south and a possible (but rather narrow) passage heading west. The internal space of this building was filled with an ashy deposit and the building may possibly have been used for light industry associated with the farm.
To the south was an east aligned ditch, within which a dump of pot, bone, glass, metal and clay pipe fragments was identified. The ditch appears to be depicted on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map, but is absent on later editions.
