Full Description
{2} A concentration of features was noted in one trench, someof which correlated with anomalies plotted on the previous geophysical survey. They appear to comprise an enclosure with internal pits. A potential ring ditch, possibly later in date than the enclosure, and not identified by the geophysical survey, was also excavated. Several sherds of pottery from the features included a sherd of Scored Ware from the fill of a pit, typical of the middle Iron Age.
