Summary
A two bay, two-storey shop with an attached workshop range at the rear. Both structures are built of brick with slate-covered roofs. Ordnance Survey and other mapping, suggests that they were built c.1880. Listed as a curriers, built 1878/9?

Full Description
{1} 1878/9 G Birch, currier and by 1912 John Tarry, currier. By 1940 it was in use as an upholsterer. Two bay, two storey house on the east side of Edith Street. The 1882 OS plan shows a long two-storey range at its rear- the additional door next to the shop entrace provides access to this range. The remainder of the ground floor front, now a shop, has been modernised. The first floor has moulded window sills and a modillioned brick eaves cornice.
