Full Description

{1} Three storey, six bay boot and shoe factory located on the east side of Victoria Road. Both the loading doorways and entrance are located in the southernmost bay of the Victoria Road elevation. The loading door on the second floor may be original; it has an iron jib to the right of the door. The first floor door appears to have been inserted into an enlarged window opening. Ornate cast-iron window frames with rectangular shaped panes around the margins and diamond and hexagonal panes in the centre appear to be original.

{4} From the late 1870s, it was used by A&W Flatau & Co, a London-based shoe manufacturer, who later moved to Palmerston Road. Later used by Richard Moutford & Co and W Todd & Co, as well as by leather & Clothing manufacturers. Now converted to apartments.
