Summary

A Methodist chapel located on the southern side of Bridge Street. The chapel was built in 1823 of coursed rubble with freestone dressings with a slate hipped roof. All of the openings have dressed stone lintels with keystones. Above a north facing entrance door is a stone tablet inscribed with Wesleyan/Chapel/1823. The chapel was restored in 1866 and replaced by later chapel of 1909 (linked to the east)

Full Description

{1} Plain building with hipped roof and flush dressings, now linked to the chapel of 1909. A panel is inscibed, 'Wesleyan Chapel 1823'

{2} Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and hipped stone slated roof. Narrow three-bay front with tablet dated 1823.
