Full Description
{1} Building recording survey was undertaken ahead of proposed works. The building is rectangular in plan and gabled at both ends, measuring around 7.5m long by 4.6m wide and just over 5.5m high at the apex of the southwest facing gable. Its walls are constructed in limestone rubble in courses ranging between 50 and 80mm thick, with dressed stone quoins at each corner and a replacement roof covering of concrete tiles. Internally the structure is open to the roof.
An ancillary building to the former Royal Oak Public House, it is of agricultural origin and probably served as a chaff house. Now the only surviving building.
