Monument record 6914/0/4 - Possible medieval/post-medieval trackway
Please read our guidance about the use of Northamptonshire Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
Two parallel, linear features, aligned north-east to south-west and spaced 10m apart, were identified by geophysical survey. The features may be backfilled side ditches of a trackway, although the fill was highly magnetised. Possibly a trackway leading to the deserted hamlet at Thrupp to the north-east.

Full Description
{1} Two parallel linear highly magnetic anomalies, orientated north-east to south-west were detected crossing the survey 10m apart. As yet, no satisfactory interpretation can be offered for these features. Ditches backfilled with particularly enhanced material may be a possibility.
The pair of ditches may relate to other medieval archaeology around Lower Thrupp Grounds
