Full Description

{1} The edges of the cobble spread were ragged and ill defined, extending beyond the extent of the trench. No indication of the cobbles was shown on the geophysical survey.
The cobbles were of small to medium size, in the range of 140-200mm in diameter. The majority of cobbles were naturally water worn, and appear to have been collected from a river bed or are derived from glacial deposits
