Full Description

{1} Watching brief undertaken during extension of barn identified a sub-rectangular feature 3.5m long x 2m wide. A linear spread of pitched limestone slabs was shown to run along the axis of the feature. The range of pottery suggests that there was continuous activity at the site from the 10th century to the later 13th century, although all the pottery dating to before the 13th century was residual.
