Full Description
{1} The chapel is situated within its own walled burial ground, which contains a large number of memorial stones of predominantly 19th-century date. The alignment of the graves does not conform to the Church of England practice of strict east-west alignment.
A number of stones were moved from their positions around the pathway leading to the old Sunday School works during conversion of the chapel to residential. They were not believed to be in situ anyway, having probably been moved already when the Sunday School was built in the 1930s. The legible stones were recorded.
