Full Description

{1} Roman activity comprised the remains of an agricultural landscape consisting of linear and curvilinear ditched trackways, alongside rectilinear and sub-rectangular fields defined by ditches and containing occasional groups of pits, tree-throw holes and waterholes. This activity was largely concentrated in Area 3, petering out to the north and south.
