Summary

The current structure survives as a remnant of much larger farm building which formerly comprised the northern boundary of a large stockyard. Dating to the late 18th/early 19th century, it was an extension to a, now demolished, barn dating to the 18th century

Full Description

{1} A Level 2 building survey was undertaken prior to conversion to residential use, which established that the present wood store formed an extension of an east-west barn in the north of the farm yard. The demolished barn range is shown on the 1779 enclosure map, but this later extension is not {2}.
