Summary

An 18th century house which was remodelled in 1822 located on the southern side of West Street. The building has been constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitched Collyweston slate roof with an ashlar gable chimney stack. The street front has a two window range of casements above a door to the left and a flat roofed bay window on the right. The eastern elevation has a sham framed upper floor. A datestone on the door jamb reads: IC J 1822, and the building was once the Windmill Public House.

Full Description

{1} No 33, comprises a two-storey 19th century one-room building with, at the rear, the remains of an 18th-century house with wide fireplace and parapeted gable. Scratched on door jamb '1822'.
