Building record 2203/0/22 - Stonelea, Sage Green

This site includes a house situated on the southern side of Main Street at its junction with Duke Street. The house was constructed in 1828 of coursed rubble and brick with a double pitched tile roof. The house has WH/EH/1828 inscribed on a date stone above the door on the north facing facade.

{1} Stonelea, two storeys, probably class 6b (central entrance house with two gable stacks and central stairway without entrance hall), lozenge-shaped date-panel over door, inscribed 'WH EH 1828'. A slightly lower wing at right angles was built soon after the main house.
