Summary

An early 19th century house situated on the eastern side of Hemmington Road. The house is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, brick and ashlar with a double pitched tile roof. The building has a 20th century extension on the northern side and an projecting gabled entrance on the west facing façade.

Full Description

{1} Bower Cottage, two storeys, formerly thatched, parapeted gables finished in brick, early 19th century. Three-room plan with internal stack.

{2} This site includes an early 19th century house situated on the eastern side of Hemmington Road. The house is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, brick and ashlar with a double pitched tile roof. The building has a 20th century extension on the northern side and an projecting gabled entrance on the west facing facade.
