Full Description

{1} Three two-story class 4c cottages with coursed rubble walls, parapeted gables and Welsh-slated roof. Only the north wall is obviously ancient but a house is shown on the site on a 1772 map of Wakerley (Burghley Estate Office). Modified in the 19th century.

{2} Recorded in 1978. A row of three cottages of two storeys with coursed rubble walls, parapeted gables and Welsh slated roof. Superficially they are of the second half of the 19th century but the north wall is clearly ancient. The central gable was added in the late 19th century with a shield and the Exeter double E monogram. Internally nothing seems to remain.
