Summary

An early 19th century terraced house with mid 19th century alterations situated on the northern side of Big Green. The terrace seems to have orginally been three houses, but is currently two. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Welsh slate roof with brick chimney stacks at each gable. The south facing front has three pairs of sash windows to the first floor, a pair to each house. Each of the houses has a sash window and door to the ground floor.

Full Description

{1} Stone Cottage, Big Green, a pair of two-storey early 19th-century cottages of class 4a and 4c plan with large sash windows; a third single-room cottage was added before 1850. Perhaps originally thatched.
