Summary

A row of three terraced houses situated on the northern side of Hautboy Lane, north west of its junction with School Lane and Church Lane. It is built of coursed rubble with a double pitch slate roof with brick chimney stacks at each gable and along the ridge. The main facade faces to the west and has an irregular range of casement windows and doors under stone lintels. The building was constructed in the 19th century but the southern gable retains banded masionary and a window opening from a 17th century house.

Full Description

{1} Nos. 2, 4, 6, a two-storey range of class 4c 19th-century cottages, now three tenements but formerly five. It incorporates at its south end the gable of a 17th-century house which was shorter than the present long range (Enclosure Map 1775; NRO, Sep. plan 38); the earlier gable is in banded masonry and has a first-floor window with chamfered surround. (Not entered).
