Full Description

{1} No. 1, two storeys, some freestone quoins, thatched roof, 17th-century origin. Of three cells, the north end has always been non-domestic. The house has been replanned; in the middle room the present large fireplace, with a reused 17th-century ceiling beam as bressumer, is 18th or 19th-century and may replace one originally at the north end.

{2} A 17th century house. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch thatched roof with a large ridge chimney stack at the centre right. The left gable has a scar in the masonry from a former building with a door on the ground floor right. The road front has two central doors and an irregular range of casement windows. The rear elevation also has two central doors flanked by irregularly spaced casement windows. Satellite images suggest that the building no longer has a thatch roof.
