Summary

A 19th century house situated on the south eastern side of the High Street at its junction with Main Road. The building is constructed of coursed limestone with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with brick gable chimney stacks. The street facade has a three window, four bay range of two light casements with a doorway in the second bay under a cambered arch. Originally a pair of two-storey single-room houses, now united.

Full Description

{1} Unequal pair of two-storey single-room houses with kitchen lean-to, now united. Built shortly before 1846 (Burghley Estate Office, Court Book). To the south-east a small barn converted to a cottage before 1829, now a garage;
