Summary

An early 19th century house that had alterations carried out in 1978 is situated on the northern side of Wakerley Road. The house was originally two houses and is single story with an attic range lit by three gabled dormer windows on the western roof slope and two on the eastern slope. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch cement tiled roof with a ridge chimney stack and a gable stack at the southern end. The west facing entrance facade has an irregular range of two light casement windows with a door on the centre right.

Full Description

{1} One storey and attics, modern tiled roof. Formerly two single-room cottages, now united, the S. early 19th-century and the N. earlier; both incorporate reused 17th-century material.

The house was originally two houses and is single story with an attic range lit by three gabled dormer windows on the western roof slope and two on the eastern slope. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch cement tiled roof with a ridge chimney stack and a gable stack at the southern end. The west facing entrance facade has an irregular range of two light casement windows with a door on the centre right. The building was reroofed from thatch and the northern end was rebuilt in 1978. Satellite image suggest that the entrance facade is now on the east.
