Full Description
{1} Small two-storey factory built around 1900 or shortly thereafter. Likely to have been built for leather trade uses, but no occupiers have been identified with certainty. It stands on the east side of the road and is gabled north-south with a six-bay west front. The half-basement at its northern end takes advantage of the sloping site. Render has obscured most of the original detail and the building has also been refenestrated in a recent residential conversion. The windows have cambered brick heads and blue brick sills. The south gable incorporates an attic light.
