Summary

Former three-storey heel factory attached to the rear of Woodbine cottage, a two-storeyed house on the west side of Park Road. Constructed of brick with slate covered pitched roofs. Woodbine Cottage was built in 1895 and the house and factory were both depicted by 1899. Both have now been demolished

Full Description

{1} Heel factory shown on ordnance survey maps. Located behind detached house on Park Road 'Woodbine Cottage 1895". Both were owned by Enos Chambers and family. The factory and house are now out of use and boarded up and would appear to be vulnerable to re-development.
