Full Description

{1} A level II building recording survey was undertaken prior to conversion to residential use. The probable former stable block adjoins the western end of the Grade II listed former tithe barn. This building appears to be the latest addition to the buildings and was added at some point prior to 1823. It measures c. 11.0m x 5.50m in plan and stands to height of up to c. 3.50m at the eaves and c. 5.0m at gable apex. The building is of solid wall construction executed is coursed rubble limestone masonry laid with lime mortar. The building is single-storey and the roof is carried on timber trusses. The building is of three bays defined by internal walling (now removed).
