Summary

An early 19th century house located on the south eastern side of Park Street. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and floor band with a double pitch stone slated roof and a brick gable chimney stack. The entrance facade faces to the south west and has a symmetrical three window range of sliding sash windows to the first floor above a central door flanked by sliding sashes. The ground floor door and windows have keystones in the floor band.

Full Description

{1} No. 42, two storeys, freestone dressings, sash windows, class 6b, early 19th-century;

{2} The site of an early 19th century house. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and floor band with a double pitch stone slated roof and a brick end chimney stack. The entrance facade faces to the south west and has a symmetrical three window range of sliding sash windows to the first floor above a central door flanked by sliding sashes. The ground floor door and windows have keystones in the floor band.
