Full Description
{1} Nos. 33-39 (odd), a row of houses which developed individually. No. 39 is 17th century. The remainder, of uniform appearance, are probably early 19th-century. No. 31 [now part of No. 33?] has a two-room plan but the others are class 4c; Nos. 33, 35 are a pair. Welsh slate roofs.
{2} A row of 17th century houses. The row is constructed of coursed rubble with a shared double pitch Welsh slate roof with ridge and end chimney stacks. The roof to number 39 is slightly lower and the house shares a large chimney with number 37. The row was altered during the 19th century to create a uniform appearance. The street facade has a six window range of casements, each above a door and window under wooden lintels. Numbers 37 and 39 have small fire windows on the chimney line. It would seem that number 39 and possibly number 37 were the least altered during the 19th century.
