Summary

House with datestone of 1710A house that was built in 1710 located on the western side of Park Street. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a double pitch Collyweston slate roof with ashlar gable parapets and end chimney stacks. The house is single story with an attic range lit by three gabled roof dormer windows in the centre of the south facing elevation. Beneath the dormers is a central doorway with a flat porch flanked by two small casement windows under wooden lintels. The eastern gable that faces the road has an incised, patterned datestone with a 1710 date above two small windows under wooden lintels.

{1} No. 23, one storey and attics, parapeted gables, date-panel on east gable inscribed '1710', class 4a.
