Building record 2707/0/58 - No. 56b Station Road, Nassington

A non conformist chapel built in 1839 on the eastern side of Station Road. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings and a hipped Welsh slate roof. There is a central entrance on the western front beneath a panel inscribed Congregational /Zion/ Church/1839. Now house

{1} Former Congregational Chapel has a date-stone inscribed 'Congregational Zion Church 1839'. Rectangular plan with welsh slate roof, roundheaded east windows, formerly with central entrance on the west. Inside, a west galley, since renewed, and a modern inserted upper floor.
