Full Description

{1} A level 2 building recording survey was carried out on two barns prior to conversion into office space. The main, two-storey barn, constructed from limestone and ironstone with clay tiles, is depicted on a map of 1840. While the building has the proportions of a threshing barn it only has a pedestrian entrance, not the usual opposing large barn doors. It has latterly been used as stables with a hayloft above.

The adjoining barn has brick gables and a corruagted iron roof. The front elevation was initially open with supporting oak posts, but has since been infilled with breezeblocks. This barn originally functioned as a shelter shed.
